I have never done something like this before. Create a "blog" that is. What exactly is a "blog" and who on earth gave it that name? Whatever happened to a "diary"? So as this is all new to me it will probably take me some time to even think about what to write and who to invite to read my "blog"...

Today is November 2nd, 2009. Skip's 89th birthday. We are having her a small family dinner tonight. Ham. Not Turkey. Why I say this is because turkey seems to be the family favourite. Regardless of what we are going to eat, it will be a nice evening spent sitting around the dining room table.

Like I said, this is all new to me and as this first post is somewhat boring, I just wanted to write a little something to "post".
